We are excited that the deliveries of the Tek RMD are about to resume after delays caused by supply chain disruption. During the COVID pandemic many manufacturers were affected by semiconductor supply disruption and Matia Robotics, the manufacturer of the Tek RMD were no exception.

The electric lifter version of the Tek RMD has been proving very popular as it has largely removed the difficulties that users with weaker arms or shoulders had with the manual version. Now users with minimal hand function can operate the product successfully.

In addition, we now have the outdoor wheel accessory and the transfer seat available. The outdoor wheel accessory comes as a complete kit that includes a special ramp, a set of outdoor wheels and a new tail piece. The kit broadens the base of support giving greater stability and wheels suitable for surfaces such as grass. The design allows many users to easily change from indoor to outdoor setup for themselves.

Flip-Down transfer seat

The transfer seat provides an alternative way of boarding the Tek RMD. It flips down to allow a user to transfer from their wheelchair more easily and then flips out of the way once the user is standing.
